Established in 2008, Gedu College of Business Studies (GCBS) is a premier constituent college under the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB), dedicated exclusively to business and management education. Located in the scenic town of Gedu, the college occupies a 184.5-acre campus originally developed by the Tala Hydroelectric Project. GCBS was founded following the transfer of the Commerce Department from Sherubtse College and has since become Bhutan’s flagship institution for nurturing ethical, future- ready business leaders through values rooted in Gross National Happiness (GNH).
